Arnhems Buiten, PROCOS and Draaijer + partners launch Greenhaus initiative

TITLE

TCN Arnhems Buiten, PROCOS NL and Draaijer+partners launched the German-Dutch Greenhaus initiative. The Greenhaus provides an open working and meeting environment to Dutch and German Facility Management organizations. It wants to stimulate co-creation and cooperation between the Greenhaus parties, but also with other organizations at Arnhems Buiten. The Greenhaus will open its doors early 2013. It will start with 40 desks.

The field of Facility Management (FM) is changing rapidly. It's no longer just about arranging catering, security and facilities. FM organizations today need to ensure that both buildings and business services provide an optimal contribution to the organization’s strategic objectives. This requires new methods and (international) partnerships, because there’s still much to be gained. FM and workplace related issues are rarely monofunctional; cooperation with partners in the chain will create stronger propositions towards German and Dutch customers and the network will create new business opportunities. By connecting different organizations in the field, the Greenhaus wants to stimulate these new methods and partnerships.

The Greenhaus is a working and meeting environment for German and Dutch organizations operating in FM, design, real estate, architecture and construction. It provides an inspiring environment for organizations to hold seminars, exchange knowledge and invite customers. The Greenhaus is a club house that invites members to gain inspiration and new contacts, leading to new business opportunities.

Building B38 at Arnhems Buiten is an ideal location for bringing together these German and Dutch organizations. The location is open, sustainable and inspiring but also business like and representative. This makes the Greenhaus an easily accessible club house focused on interaction and cooperation.

Another reason for selecting the location is Arnhems Buiten’s strong energy profile. Stimulating sustainability and use of sustainable energy are important objectives of the Energy Business Park, but also increasingly for FM organizations. Collaboration between organizations in the Greenhaus and other parties at Arnhems Buiten should lead to new insights and initiatives.

Another reason for selecting Arnhems Buiten is TCN’s experience with creating inspiring working and meeting places. A recent example is the Energy Club, an open working and meeting environment for energy professionals that will open in September. Many of the principles of this club house also apply to the Greenhaus.
