Brandboxx Salzburg

Brandboxx Salzburg is the leading business-to-business center in Austria.

Background

Brandboxx Salzburg is one of the trade marts TCN owns and manages in Europe. It started as ‘Mode Grosshandels Center & Mode Event Center’ in 1981. After the start of the trade mart in the eighties, the building has been extended several times because of the enormous demand for space by the fashion, sports and shoes manufacturers. Today, it provides a national forum for professionals in the Austrian sports, shoes and fashion industry. Approximately 220 permanent exhibitors with over 400 brands are operating in the following segments: modern woman, men's wear, Young Fashion, Jeans, sportswear and shoes.

Brandboxx network, international platform for trade marts

A trade mart is a platform for transactions, meetings, distribution and information in the fields of fashion, sports and living. The Brandboxx tenants are manufacturers, distributors or agents. They share facilities such as parking and reception to reduce their operational costs, but more importantly they share knowledge and expertise. TCN has invested substantially in the development and management of the so called Brandboxx network. The network works on the principle of synergy: owners and managers have easy access to our knowledge, expertise, data and contacts in the trade mart industry. Tenants are offered an international full service solution for their wholesale activities.

The Brandboxx network currently exists of:

  • Brandboxx Salzburg (Austria)
  • Fashion Park Wien (Austria)
  • Fashion House Düsseldorf (Germany)
  • Brandboxx Hannover (Germany)
  • Brandboxx Almere (The Netherlands)
  • Brandboxx Leusden (The Netherlands)
  • Home Trade Center (The Netherlands)
  • Barcelona Moda Centre (Spain)

Management

Brandboxx Salzburg has its own management organization for daily management. The fact that trading activities are clustered has clear advantages for tenants with respect to both business and management. Concentrating multiple manufacturers in a single location allows retailers to view the total array of available products in an efficient, professional and pleasant manner. Manufacturers benefit from various economies of scale. They share costs for services such as reception, cleaning, technical support and security and benefit from a combined budget for marketing, events and advertising.
