ROC Amsterdam, plot E

With 35,000 students the ROC of Amsterdam is already one of the largest 'suppliers' of college professionals in the region. By introducing the new community college concept, the organization wants to further improve the quality of their education. Important to the college buildings is that they facilitate meeting between education and business, creating a unique 21st century learning concept. TCN has developed several ROC locations, including two in Amsterdam.

History
In May 2012 TCN delivered a first community college building called FlowAmsterdam in a prime location opposite the RAI exhibition center to the ROC of Amsterdam and GREEN Real Estate investor. This newly constructed building with a total size of 35,000 sqm gross floor area will accommodate sixteen college programs from the ROC of Amsterdam and various companies and institutions on the ground and first floor of the building. Besides educational facilities, the building also includes a supermarket, fitness center, restaurant and other facilities.

Future
End 2012 TCN will start the realization of a second community college. The size of this building is 8,850 sqm gross floor area, of which 7,000 sqm gross floor area educational facilities and 1,850 sqm gross floor area commercial space. This building will also be located at ‘Kop Zuidas’ in Amsterdam, close to the first community college.
